You know what? I lied.
I did have a blog. Remember Xanga? Before Myspace, it was the "it" site- we're talking about when I was in 5th-7th grade. It makes me wonder how many kids actually blog nowadays. For those that blogged many years ago, it must be a trip down Nostalgia Ln. to read old journal entries. Then comes the fun part of realizing how much you've grown & changed. *a euphemism for feeling embarrassed of immature thoughts
I was looking forward to revisiting my old blog, only to find out that their system deleted all of my posts. (insert sad panda face)

Best Blogging Site?
I'm seriously having my doubts about Blogger and I'm considering using Wordpress. You may be thinking a sarcastically-exclaimed, "Really?" I know, I know, it's only been a few hours... But I'm already having blogger's remorse.
To be honest, Wordpress was actually my first choice. But what attracted me to Blogger was, well, Google. I mean, you'd expect they'd be ahead of the game, right? In reality, authoritative sources (and I'm talking about CNN and New York Times here) prefer Wordpress. What I've realized is that Blogger is incredibly user-friendly with all sorts of gadgets that one can easily manipulate and customize their own page without any experience in the internets whatsoever. In fact, if I were to set up a site for someone else, I'd use Blogger. ;-)
But one thing that they don't have is MySQL. And that is definitely one thing I was looking for in a future blog: full, unrestricted freedom.
However, I don't even have a domain yet. So I guess this will have to do.
Thankfully, I can import this entire blog to Wordpress.

First blog. First blog post.
After designing (photographing, illustrating, coding, the whole shebang) my boyfriend's entire blog, I thought that I should take a break... and make a blog of my own.
So I guess I should start off with a little introduction of myself. Let's start off with some basics:
So I guess I should start off with a little introduction of myself. Let's start off with some basics:
- If I had to eat only one food for the rest of my life, it would be cherries. I just wish they didn't have the pits. But nothing's perfect, right?
- You will never catch me not wearing my favorite color, baby blue. If you do, trust me: I'm wearing it somewhere.
- My favorite animals are pandas. My brother was once an avid turtle lover, but I've converted him.
- My mother is emotionally abusive towards me. When I was born, she left for vacation. This serves as my first memory. Most memorable quote from her: "Promises are meant to be broken."
- My father is my hero. And so is his father. And his mother, whom I used to call "mom."
- Aside from my family, my boyfriend is closest to me. We see each other every day and practically live together in that sense.
- Ever since my youth, I've shown skill in math, speech, and piano, winning competitions in each.
- Computer illustration comes naturally to me since I've been doing it for over a decade. I've been into web design for a decade, too. Photography is a "newer" passion of mine, since I started 6 years ago.
- Adventure and travel is how I plan to spend my life. At the first chance, I spontaneously took a train from Los Angeles. 12 hours later I found myself in San Francisco. By myself. Age 16.
- A Harley Davidson motorcycle is waiting for me in the garage. But I don't have a license... or a motorcycle license. Yet.
- My brother's description of me in one word: boss.
- Within the next year, I plan on launching my professional portfolio/website.
